Forzest (tadalafil) side effects
The most common side effects with Forzest are headache, flushing, stuffy or runny nose, indigestion, upset stomach, diarrhea, dizziness, and back pain. These side effects usually go away after a few hours. If any of these effects persist or worsen, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.
Remember that your doctor has prescribed this medication because he or she has judged that the benefit to you is greater than the risk of side effects. Many people using this medication do not have serious side effects.
A small number of people taking Forzest have had a sudden decrease or loss of vision in one or both eyes. It is not known if this medication is the actual cause of this effect. If this serious problem occurs, stop taking Forzest and get medical help right away.
Rarely, a sudden decrease or loss of hearing, sometimes with ringing in the ears and dizziness, may occur. Stop taking Forzest and get medical help right away if these effects occur.
In the unlikely event you have a painful or prolonged erection lasting 4 or more hours, stop using this medication and get medical help right away, or permanent problems could occur.
A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is rare. However, get medical help right away if you notice any symptoms of a serious allergic reaction, including: rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, trouble breathing.

Forzest (tadalafil) drug interactions
Forzest can potentiate the hypotensive effect of nitrates, alpha blockers, and antihypertensives. Concomitant use of Forzest with nitrates and/or nitric oxide donors is contraindicated [see Contraindications (4)].
In patients who are taking alpha blockers, concomitant administration of Forzest may lead to symptomatic hypotension in some patients [see Warnings and Precautions (5.5)].

Forzest has systemic vasodilatory properties and may further lower blood pressure in patients taking antihypertensive medications.
Strong CYP3A4 inhibitors such as ketoconazole or itraconazole can increase the plasma concentrations of Forzest, and concomitant use is therefore contraindicated [see Contraindications (4)].
Moderate CYP3A4 inhibitors such as erythromycin or clarithromycin can increase the plasma concentrations of Forzest, and concomitant use is therefore not recommended [see Use in Specific Populations (8.4)].
CYP3A4 inducers such as rifampin may decrease the plasma concentrations of Forzest, and concomitant use is therefore not recommended [see Use in Specific Populations (8.4)].
Forzest had no clinically significant effect on exposure (AUC) to S-warfarin or R-warfarin, nor did Forzest affect changes in prothrombin time induced by warfarin.
